KARABURMA began as a shelf that grew too specific: modernist paperbacks, Russian novels, essays, and books people kept asking to borrow. The catalogue is selected by readers, not by an automated feed.
Condition, translation, edition, and usefulness matter as much as the title. A used book is not just content. Binding, paper, notes, jacket, and printing history change the reading experience.
